This beautiful black cherry tree stands out in a little clearing as you hike down the main path, just a short distance from the welcome house. Its dark and textured bark covers its curvy trunk as it extends into a pretty canopy that is open to the sky. This spot provides scenic views of the forest and a nice open space where you may sit to reflect or just enjoy the sounds of nature.
Woodland Theatre has a true “heart of the forest” feel, where quiet surroundings amplify the sounds of nature. Deep in the forest, this section offers a sense of privacy.
A seasonal stream meanders along its eastern edge, creating a natural valley that separates Woodland Theatre from the rest of the forest.
Gentle rolling hills with winding trails add character to this easily walkable section of the forest. In spring and summer, the lush canopy overhead provides ample shade, invoking a secluded and tranquil feel.
You and your loved ones can visit your tree and the entire forest at any time during the spring, summer, and fall.
