We’re Becoming a Nonprofit

Renewing our commitment to protecting forestland
and serving people navigating loss.

A Natural Evolution in our Mission

From day one, Better Place Forests has been about more than the trees. At our core, we’ve been dedicated to helping people navigate the experience of loss through the healing power of nature. Now, we’re taking an exciting step to ensure that this mission remains at the heart of everything we do.

We’re proud to share that Better Place Forests is evolving into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This transformation allows us to focus entirely on what matters most—supporting people navigating loss and protecting forestland for generations to come.

Why We’re Becoming a Nonprofit

We are in the process of evolving into a nonprofit so we can have an even greater impact.

Prioritizing our Mission

By becoming a nonprofit, we’re putting compassionate service at the heart of everything we do. With the freedom to focus on our mission we can better serve people who navigate the experience of loss through the healing power of nature.

Building Community Partnerships

Our nonprofit status opens doors to building meaningful partnerships with like-minded organizations who are passionate about conserving nature and helping people navigate loss.

Expanding Conservation Efforts

Conservation has always been at the heart of what we do. Becoming a nonprofit strengthens that commitment in countless ways. With eligibility for grants, donations, and philanthropic funding, we will be able to reinvest in conservation efforts.
