Forest Address

The forest is located at 1235 CA-189 in Lake Arrowhead, California near the area of Twin Peaks

Most people use Google Maps to get to the meeting point. Below is the link to the exact forest location.

NOTE: If using an iPhone, please double-check your directions as iMaps sometimes takes users to downtown Lake Arrowhead Village which is about 15 minutes away from the forest.

The forest is located directly across Highway 189 from the Pinecrest Christian Conference Center. To get here, come up the mountain on Highway 18 from San Bernardino.

When you get to the stoplight at Lake Gregory Drive, take a left then an IMMEDIATE right (after about 5 feet) onto Highway 189.

We are about a mile up Highway 189 from Lake Gregory Drive, you will see two large stone pillars directly across from the electronic Pinecrest sign – take a right off the highway between the two stone pillars and park in our dirt parking area.

If you reach downtown Twin Peaks and the Pine Rose Cabins, you have gone too far – turn around and come back. If you miss the turn, for safety please continue up the highway for about a mile and turn around near the Pine Rose cabins instead of trying to turn on the highway where there are blind curves.

Important Tips

  • The forest is incredibly peaceful, but cell phone service can be unreliable.
  • We recommend wearing sneakers or hiking boots and bringing a jacket. We have walking sticks, hand-warmers, and umbrellas in case the weather takes a turn for the worse.
  • Please save these directions as service on the way to the forest may be unreliable.
  • There are not currently any restrooms in the forest. Our team can assist you to travel to a designated bathroom at Pinecrest if you need to use the facilities. Please do not use the Pinecrest facilities without one of our team members escorting for the safety of the children they host.
  • The entire forest is a non-smoking property for health and safety reasons. This includes all vaping and burning of incense as well.
  • Due to forest service regulations, no sparks are allowed in the forest during fire season. This includes BBQs, candles, incense sticks and burning of sage. The fine from the USFS for this is up to $5,000 per instance.
